Adult Safeguarding Week 18th - 22nd November

National Safeguarding Adults Week (NSAW) in 2024 will take place from Monday, November 18 to Friday, November 22. The theme for 2024 is "Working in Partnership". 

The week is a time for organisations to: 

  • Raise awareness of safeguarding issues 
  • Explore different safeguarding themes each day 
  • Consider how to work together to establish safer cultures 
  • Promote adult safeguarding 
  • Highlight safeguarding best practice 
  • Encourage people to recognize signs of abuse and neglect 
  • Encourage people to report safeguarding concerns
