Statement from RBSCP.
Dear Borough of Rochdale resident and RBSCP members,
Following a recent JTAI inspection of RBSCP and the release of Working Together to Safeguard Children 2023, Executive Safeguarding Partners have made a decision to reset, and refresh the activities of the Partnership. Moving forwards, the RBSCP plans to strengthen governance, embed a culture of quality assurance and ensure local children, young people and their families’ voice are heard when making future strategic plans.
As part of this strategic reset, the RBSCP has approved an extension to our current safeguarding priorities. This extension is to March 2025.
Please be assured the reset of RBSCP will not affect any frontline safeguarding activity. If you have any safeguarding concerns regarding a child please phone children’s social care on 0300 303 0440, speak to your health practitioner, a trusted person at school, or if a child is immediate danger call the police on 999.
