There are also a number of Advisors to the Partnership who have specialist knowledge.

These are:

  • RBC Children's Services (Director of Children's Services).
  • Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Clinical Commissioning Group (Designated Safeguarding Adults Nurse).
  • Greater Manchester Police (Divisional Commander).

In addition, the Safeguarding Business Unit exists to support the work of the Board. 

RBSCP Arrangements

The Rochdale Borough Safeguarding Children Partnership (RBSCP) replaced the Rochdale Borough Safeguarding Children Board on 11th July 2019 when new partnership arrangements are implemented.

The Children and Social Work Act 2017 and Working Together 2018 set out the requirement for the establishment of new multi-agency safeguarding arrangements covering each local authority area.
