Twilight Level Two Domestic Abuse Awareness Training (Delivered over two sessions)

This face to face Domestic Abuse Awareness session is aimed at front line practitioners working with families in the Borough. It aims to increase awareness of domestic abuse and the impact on children and support practitioners to be able to recognise signs and respond appropriately.

It gives an overview of the Government definition, risk, civil and legal remedies, vulnerabilities for children, LGBTQ+ and older people,  perpetrators, how to complete a DASH assessment, MARAC process, safety planning, learning from DHRs  and domestic abuse services available locally.

The training will take place over two sessions as follows:

(Part1)  Wednesday 9th of October 24 – 15.30.p.m – 18.30.p.m.

(Part2) Wednesday 16th of October 24 – 15.30.p.m – 18.30.p.m.
