Self Neglect and Hoarding

This course will consider the causes of self-neglect, the risk factors, the ethical dilemmas and the legal context. We will present a hoarding case study and work through the top ten considerations of hoarding.

By the end of the course you will be able to:

• Identify the legal and policy context  for working with people who Self Neglect and Hoard
• Identify the challenges associated with this work
• Consider your own practice when working with people who Self Neglect and Hoard
• Know who to contact for information and support
