Description: This face to face Domestic Abuse Awareness session is aimed at front line practitioners. It aims to increase awareness of domestic abuse and it’s impact so practitioners can recognise signs and respond appropriately.
It gives an overview of the Government definition, risk, civil and legal remedies, impact on children, perpetrators, impact of Covid-19 and domestic abuse services available locally.
We also have available bite-size Zoom sessions on related topics, all available via the Safeguarding Board.
