Cuckooing/Home Invasion
Cuckooing or Home invasion is a term that we are hearing more and more frequently. Put simply, it is the practice of exploiting a vulnerable person, in order to use their property.
As awareness of cuckooing rises, there is more of a demand on housing providers and councils to play a part in addressing the issues in partnership with the Police colleagues.
The Partnership Enforcement Team (PET) use their practical experience to demonstrate the different types of cuckooing using local case studies. Attendees will come away with a real insight into this growing problem and guidance on what to do if they have concerns.
